I dont mean for you to spend a super long time on it. I know we are all on a time crunch. I would just like there to be a comprehensive heathen explaination on the subject and I have not been ale to write a suitable one as I have troubles wrapping my head around that topic as well. So, personally, I would like to have a better understanding of the heathen perspective too!

Could you explain from the Heathen perspective why the Moon is seen as masculine and the Sun Feminine? I would like to add an official Heathen perspective to the sight.

- I can see this as well in men and women, and it tends to ebb and flow within in them at differnt times in their lives. So large heavenly bodies, whose to say..sometimes they are male sometimes female...? :)
Rome...they did start quite a big mess didnt they. So unfortunate.
I find myself relying more and more on UPG as well, a brilliant beam of light that begins to make sense of a jumbled mess at times , indeed.
When two individuals or more get together and share personal gnosis and it matches up like pieces of an ancient puzzle neatly clicking into place...I live for those moments.

- lol ahh yes the Sun and Moon issue. I found myself struggling with that one for quite some time as I studied Asatru. I have come to accept that all things have within them polarity, the Sun and the Moon being no exception. Personally I see the moon as more feminine because of the effect it has the waters of the earth and the emotions of humanity, I also see it as the daughter of the earth as accepted theory states the moon was formed by a collision by another body with the earth. I see the sun as masculine because of the intense and forceful energy it pours forth, thus seeding life upon the earth. But I also understand seeing the feminine within the sun and the masculine within the moon. I personally do not find error in either view.

- In regards to Freyja and the craft she practiced as I am sure you have found there simply is not alot of historical or even mythological information that has survived the tests of time. We all have our theories and personal gnosis, but not much more.
I have worked closely with The Lady for many years and she has brought me much knowledge. I believe she practiced Seidhr, but even with that the definition of Seidhr is up to varied interpretation.
Most modern Seidhr workers have their own ways of doing things and just about all come from working with spirits directly...in my case Disir.
I have a theory that the type of magic Freyja and her followers practiced was very strong and pretty much was made a point by Christianity way back when to be completely irradicated. Try as they may, her ways are timeless and eternal. Even if no historical data remains, one group can not simply remove such power and beauty from the fabric of all that is. Pieces survived, hidden..altered to be protected in some cases. Some can fit them together. But it is important to remember that magick and Seidhr change, they must to remain viable and useful to the time period in which they are practiced. If we let our hearts and wisdom guide us and seek with truth and honor we uncover amazing things.

The site is an on going work in progress and as we have not had a lot of Heathen interest to date it is lacking in that regard. So, I guess with your presence now its time for me to step it up and get back to work. lol
O how the multiverse love to nudge us every now and again to get off our butts! lol
