New Years Day Spell for Prosperity:

This is a spell that my family has done every year since I can remember. It's really simple...

Annoint a red candle with bayberry oil, or purchase a bayberry candle if you can find one. Light the candle and say this three times: A Bayberry candle, when burned to the socket, brings luck to the home and gold to the pocket. Allow the candle to burn all day on New years day. It will bring peace and abundance into your home.

I asked my grammy where she got this spell, but she doesn't remember because she's done it for so long. So if you know the source of this spell, let me know!

Well, best laid plans, ya know? Unfortunately, I fell sound asleep long before the moon even made an appearance! But do have a question for you. I just learned tomorrow night (8/30) is a Black Moon - best time for banishing spells. Thru today and tomorrow, I will work on a few things but was wondering what you normally do for this type of event. Thanks...Robin

If you did the full moon ritual, I'd be interesting in discussing how it went for you, if you felt the presence of the Goddess ect.
