Merry Meet and Welcome to Temple Zenith online.

The Lady
The Goddess Freyja

This site is the official interactive online teaching coven for Temple Zenith.

Welcome to Temple Zenith online. Thank you for stopping by. We appreciate the opportunity to tell you a bit about us and demonstrate how we can help you achieve your spiritual goals. So please, stay for a while. Get to know us. If you have any questions or comments, we invite you to contact us – we'd love to hear from you.

Temple Zenith Online and how it works: There is a wealth of information available without official membership on this site. Those seeking a structured learning curriculum are asked to join the "Zenithian 101 Group for Dedicates" and follow the lessons in numerical order. Those with prior experience are asked to browse the site including the Dedicates group; if you feel you have already done similiar work please email us at templezenith@yahoo.com or post a comment on the High Priestess' page (Stacy Marie) for an initiates application. The "Outer Court" serves as our discussion forum and it is open to the public for read only purposes, you must be a member to post . The dedicates group is also publicly available as read only.
The Temple Zenith Sabbats and Rites of Passage are only available to members. All higher degree groups and curricula become accessible as you progress through the program. This is not meant to be elitist or mean, it is meant to deliver lessons in a specific order so that connections and even epiphanies can be made within a viable supporting framework. You would not build a house from the roof down, and the same principal holds true within sprituality and especially so in building a relationship with the forces of nature and magick.

Pagan and Wiccan ways are not about casting spells for your every want and wish, they are about being fully aware of, intune with and interacting within your environment and nature as a whole. It is not a fashion statement, but rather a way of life. It is about looking within and seeing with open eyes. It is about taking control of and responsibility for; your own actions, thoughts and words. It is hard work.
You will be asked to do a lot of reading, writing, meditation and contemplation here. You will be asked to be creative. If you are up for these tasks, we welcome you. If you are not yet ready for such work, we will be here when and if you ever are.

What does Temple Zenith teach?
Temple Zenith is an Eclectic Wiccan/Pagan temple where the Goddess and the God are equal in thier reflection of cosmic BEING.
We teach ways to honor spirits and deity as well as practice the art of magick, presented in a system of daily spiritual living. Whether you are new to the craft or a well-seasoned Witch, if you follow the system in the way it is presented you will learn much about magick, power, the Gods, the universe and your self.

What we are not:
While we cover Gardnerian influence in our history curicula Temple Zenith is not a Gardnerian Tradition. We are not a reconstructionist tradition. We do not agree with the idea that Wiccan ideology and Witchcraft ideology are two separate things, we use the words Wicca and Witch interchangably, despite popular trends. We do not claim to practice our craft in the same manner that our ancestors did, and we all change rituals and spells to suit our individual inclinations (even the ones handed down to us from elder family members). We do not embrace the light and ignore the dark nor do we embrace the dark and ignore the light. We do not limit ourselves to one culture in our seeking. We do not call upon deity as if it were ingredients in a recipe. We are not monotheists, nor are we duotheists. We are not Christian nor are we Satanic. We are not renaissance ceremonial magicians.

Religion is an extremely personal thing, as such Temple Zenith believes in aiding a seeker in finding their own "true" path, but not in dictating what that path should be. We have rituals, meditations, and suggestions to help the true seeker find their way through the Pagan landscape but do not color that landscape for them. Our teachings are not "cookie cutter" and evolve with time by all who invest time with us. With that being said and kept in mind; We are an Eclectic tradition, and we strive to teach in a structured manner that allows for personal creativity and growth. In its current state Temple Zenith is heavily influenced by the teachings of Traditional Witchcraft, Wicca, Feri, Asatru, Anglo- Saxon Wiccecraft and Druidry. We strive to find a balance between modern (not renaissance) ceremonial magick and ancient European Shamanism. We honor, respect and celebrate both the dark and light in life and choose to walk between.
Magick is something that can be dangerous if not handled with respect and caution, like fire. There are many tecniques and ways to reach a desired result. Temple Zenith seeks to give the student a strong foundation from which to build in regards to magick.
Our curriculum is tried, tested and updated regularly. Student input and ideas help to shape it and keep it alive. A tradition after all is only as good as those who practice it.

There are those who are more suited for our ways and our particular way of doing things than others, as is the case with most things, it is important to find a fit when choosing a path to walk. While we do not feel there is a "right" or "wrong" way of practicing, there are most certianly adequate, good and better ways that very with each individual. Please know that it is our most genuine desire to help all those we meet find what works best for them as individuals. Sometimes that means having the wisdom to refer people to other teachers or traditions.

"My vision behind creating this Temple is to present a working spiritual system that takes into account the pressures, responsibilities and fast paced nature of today’s society. As a working mother of three, I fully understand that in today’s world we are all unofficially expected to be super human, still finding energy and time to pursue our spiritual needs in addition to all of the other daily demands we have. It is not an easy task by any means. It is a dance to balance our lives, sometimes a frantic and chaotic one. It can be a beautiful and graceful dance, which gives us a unique sense of pride and amazement. We can live our spirituality through daily practice that is in tune with the passing of time and nature while working our full time jobs, going to school, taking care of our children, our homes and finding time for our significant others. It is not easy, but it is rewarding. We also must include our children in our spirituality,it is essential to provide them with a firm spiritual foundation from which they can build and grow. With that being said, until a child reaches the age of 18, only a parent can know what their child is ready for spiritually, and Temple Zenith will respect that parental right. There will be no one under 18 initiated.

With respect to, and with the exception of , core concepts and utilitarian understanding of ritual repetition, I do not wish Temple Zenith to represent a rigid unchanging set of rituals and spells. I want everyone that studies here to continue to study and learn everything they can and expand on the foundation laid by Temple Zenith. Magick in particular is about study, doing, recording and very much being the metaphysician. I teach what has worked so well for my family and me with the hope that it will do the same for others, or at least give them a solid basis to discovering what does work best for them. I also would like to see Temple Zenith develop into a general Pagan Church with the inner circle Zenithian folks as the clergy of that church. What we teach here can be for a coven setting, a family setting as well as a Solitary path" - Stacy Marie

My Lady Freyja, I dedicate all of my work to you.

This is a very moving and intensely personal experience, but I felt moved to share so please forgive me if I am vague with some of the details.
Several years ago I found myself in what I will simply term as the darkest and most unpleasant place I have ever been in my life. I was broken and felt helpless. At the absolute bottom of this pit I had made of my life I had nothing…
I remember very clearly being in a heap on the floor and feeling her presence, the presence of Freyja, warm, glowing and v… Continue

Disappointment

Today I am quoting Garilla Zoe "I am following the Wise but thier walking in pampers."

So in my quest for knowledge I come and go in many online circles and groups...always hoping to find an enlightened few to converse and share with in addition to Temple Zenith. Time and time again I find frustration and disappointment.
In my newest such venture I have found interesting individuals some of which seem to have genuine knowledge and genuine practice...ahh such a breath of fresh air. And then it h… Continue

What flavor of Witch am I ?

My own...just as you should be your own.
First and foremost let me say that I am well schooled in Gardnerian style Wicca (educated not initiated). I include the history of Gardner in my curricula and I am grateful and well aware of the impact his work has had on both the Wiccan and Pagan communities at large, although really it has been more the work of Doreen Valiente then Gardner in my opinion.
With that being said my personal flavor of Wicca is not Gardnerian at all. And I am far more comfort… Continue

The Wispy people and Monsters

My daughter is three and she has begun to draw interesting pictures of round and “furry” creatures she calls “Monsters”. I stopped myself short of telling her monsters aren’t real.
I had to stop myself. My maternal instinct wanted to assure her all was well in her world and that there was nothing to feel fear from in her own bedroom. The Witch in me demanded I handle it from an approach other than denial. I assured her that nothing that wanted to cause her harm was going to be able to get into h… Continue

A Monday Night Broom Funeral

Have you ever noticed that the things we use to banish or remove negativity become changed in some way after prolonged use? The turquoise turns a dull ugly green color, the broom begins to look ratty and tattered.
Well, my old broom had seen better days. I purchased a new one to replace it several weeks ago and slowly began to strip the old one of all its glory, moving my handfasting cord to the new one, the feathers, the ribbon. Now my old broom was the one y husband and I jumped at our handfas… Continue

Semantics: We're Not So Different [Scott A. Johnson]

One of the many things that we Pagans come up against in our pursuit of the freedom of religion is what George Carlin called the and quot;Scary Words. and quot; If you look at the Craft from a religious point of view, it's easy to see why so many religions fear and loathe us: simply because they don't understand. The history of the human condition paints a grim picture of our race, in that we as a species tend to fear things we don't understand, and what we fear, nine times out of ten, we destroy. But on

Eclectic Witch: I Am the World [Maiaduir]

What does it mean to be an Eclectic Witch? This may mean many different things to many different people. However, I think that what it means to be an Eclectic Witch is this: to be at a state of oneness with the whole of Gaia, and all of her cultures and traditions. Eclectic Witches reclaim spirituality from many sources, including their Ancestral traditions, traditions from their past lives, traditions from the land upon which they reside, traditions that they have a special connection t

Not a lot of time. Not a lot of Privacy. Not a lot of supplies. Jeez, how are you ever gonna practice Wicca? Well to tell you the truth, being a Witch does not cost money and you don't need dragon's blood just to practice Wicca. Nor do you need a whole Occult Shop in your Magickal Cabinet.
